Mental health

It can be easy to know when to see a doctor when there are physical symptoms; you’ve got a sore throat, or a rash or something hurts. When it’s in your head, it can be harder to identify or even to talk about. Whilst there is a continuing focus on mental wellbeing in the media and it’s becoming more mainstream to discuss, some people can feel that there is a stigma attached to mental health. In my practice, there is not.

Physical and mental health are intrinsically connected, and my job as your doctor is to help you be as healthy as you can be in body and in mind.

As a practising Private GP for over 30 years and as an A&E Consultant in University College Hospital, I have helped many people get better from whatever illness was affecting them – be it physical or mental. Each person is unique, and life events affect us differently; I am here to listen to you and to help find the best approach for you
